It all began with the Jaguars
A couple of days ago my 14 year old son T received an awesome package. Our friends had cleaned out their closet and gifted him with Jaguars merchandise from their inaugural season, including a jacket, patch, pins and a keychain. My first thought was, hey, you’ve got to write them a thank you note! His response: what do I say? Once we finally got that written (I’ll write a more in depth post about that later) I told him to address the envelope. His response was one of great confusion. So together we finally addressed and mailed the thank you letter. All of this really got me thinking. He’s FOURTEEN!!!! I assumed this would be taught in school! But apparently there is a lot that I was taught in school that they are no longer teaching. So it’s time to quickly educate him and my 10 year old daughter L before he leaves for college in 4 years. This is how our journey begins.
